Some Honest Scrap

8. The story of the RMS Titanic has fascinated me for years. I have between 15 and 20 books on the subject. I also have a piece of Titanic coal and a poster signed for me by the last living survivor, Millvina Dean, who was just 9 weeks old at the time of the sinking. I've touched the bell of the Titanic.

9. I am the 2nd oldest of 7 children and a 3rd generation Polish American.


10. My favorite vacation is a cruise to anywhere. Just load me on the ship and start the engines. I do have to have an outside stateroom. It doesn't matter what deck I am on as long as there is a porthole or a window.

Jane, of Jumpin in the Jungle presented me with this beautiful award in December! I think I was so overwhelmed with NOT baking cookies that I had an attack of apoplexy and the resulting amnesia rendered me incapable of acknowledging this in a timely manner. This is just a wild guess, but I'm thinking Jane's blog name has something to do with the fact that she has 4 children and 1 husband. That would be my guess! I first met Jane when she participated in our Bloggyland Christmas tour and have enjoyed visiting her blog to keep up with the Jungle adventures. Thank you Jane!
