The End Of The Inauguration Day

Michelle - isn't that the Muse over there doing the Electric Slide?

Normally we end our events with a bonfire and fireworks , but Martha will not allow either in the yard.

The table is still set - if you are feeling peckish, have a bite of food and a cup of coffee - with or without butter in it! Enjoy yourself!

Trish, Petra Michelle, Blicky, Lavinia and I are just about to hop aboard a carriage and make the rounds of the inaugural balls. If you happen by, we'll be the ones doing the Electric Slide.

Thank you to all of our hosts for participating today and to the many, many visitors who stopped by to see our Inaguration events! It was a fun day in Bloggington D.C. A great one, actually!

God Bless America and our new President!

Thank you all and you are welcome. Funny thing about posts, Margaret Ann - you can look at yesterday's post in July and there will still be plenty of delicious food. It's something about cyber space...

Sorry I missed the festivities yesterday. I put something on my blog last night to commemorate the occasion.

Thanks again. You're the best!!! Sounds like a great recipe. Sweets, fat, alcohol and major carbs...covers each one of my favorite food groups.

Oooh! My legs are sore from the electric slide, and I keep getting calls from Ashton Kutcher's agent and the new white house Chief of Staff mumbling something about a restraining order. I'll have to ask Blicky if he knows anything about that...

Thanks for hanging out last night. All that dancing was so fun. I'm certainly glad we bought new dresses on the way up to D.C. What fun! Wow! I'm sure we will never forget our adventure with the gang. The French Toast looks very yummy. Old Martha had it going on.

I'm looking at your temp on the sidebar and 44 is really cold for you guys. Stay warm. luv ya, Trish
