Bloggyland Christmas Tour - What A Day!

Come and sit by the bonfire with Stevie Wren, Trish and I! Put your feet up, and grab a blanket if you like. It's been quite a day, hasn't it! I managed to visit every bloggyfriend who opened their homes and their hearts to us today - this is by far the most attended event yet!
Oh, I almost forgot; I have some vodka chilling in the snow - it's cold, but it will warm you up right down to those frozen toes of yours.

I thought some french toast would be a good idea. Would you like some? here's a plate (I "borrowed" it from Lisa's pretty cupboard) I'm sure she won't mind.

Would you rather stay inside by the fire? I have a glass of eggnog for you. It's very cozy here. A nice spot to sit and talk about our day

Oh, how about some chestnuts roasted by the open fire? (humming the song...la la la hum hmmm). Would you prefer a latte? Comin' right up!
I sure thank you for participating and/ or spending time visiting Bloggyland Village today. Everyone had such wonderful and unique posts to celebrate the season. Mr. Peck says over 1,200 folks took sleigh rides today! Well, who wouldn't with Mr. Peck at the reins! By the way, have you seen him lately? You haven't met him? CLICK HERE for mug shots..er.. I mean pictures. If you see him ask him to bring the sleigh around front, Janeen's been standing out there for an hour!.
The best part of the tour was this great opportunity to meet new bloggyfriends. We had 52 participants - many of whom I had not met prior to today! It's such a busy time for everyone. That makes this adventure even more special - that you took the time to post and visit. Thank you so much!
Oh, you had a late start? No problem, visitors are welcome in Bloggyland Village anytime! Just CLICK HERE and hop on a sleigh to any of the links of participating bloggers.
Are you warm enough now to go back outside for a few minutes? Good!

What better way to end such a spectacular day than with fireworks!
Thank you again, and Merry Christmas dear bloggyfriends!
Oh, and pass me one of those marshmallows, would you please?

What a wonderful day, even though I was totally not prepared...and slept late. Muse, you amaze me with your abiliy to organize such a fantastic voyage into Bloggyland. Well done and Merry Christmas to you...now you can kick back and relax...what time will the housekeepers arrive tomorrow morning...they'll be working late for sure! :-D

Merriest of holiday seasons to you and your family!

Thank you! This was such a fun day! I feel like I've been out visiting all day - must go to bed soon!

steviewren said...

Muse, sit down hon. Put your curly toed elf shoes right here by the fire. You must be exhausted with all the traveling and organizing you did today. Besides you aren't the steadiest on your feet tonight...too much punch, mulled wine and chilled vodka I'd say. Here's your marshmallows...make me a smore while I run out front and see if Mr Peck ever picked Janeen up. I'll call Cary if he still isn't here. Cary can take a girl on a nice ride as well as Mr Peck can.

MuseSwings said...

Oh thank you Stevie, hand me one of those blankets please. Is my nose still red? do you think it's from the cold or the vodka? Your smore turned out perfect! I put extra chocolate in it. Thank you so much for your wonderful post! I loved visiting Nazareth - and the star was there - it really was! How impressive. Oh Cary went to hang out with Sparky at Jury duty. She hasn't come back. Think she's in the slammer?

steviewren said...

Yep, I bet that is exactly where Sparky is...you know she probably told the judge where to go if he was the least bit liberal in his judicial rulings today. Hmmm, this smore is exceptionally good. Can I share the blanket with you? I'm a tad chilled still.

MuseSwings said...

Absolutely, Stevie - this is a very cozy blanket and I'm happy to share with you, my dear friend. My toes are still defrosting, I may have to bribe the happy woodsman to put a few more logs on the fire.
I think we may have to collect some bail money for Sparky. We never should have let her go there all by herself. I hope they don't put her next to OJ. Here, let me put a little more of this hot "cider" in your sippy cup.

steviewren said...

Giggling as I picture OJ and Sparky in the same cell...too funny....poor OJ. She'll give him what he has coming! Yes, more "cider" would hit the spot! I think I will just snuggle down under my end of the blanket and take a little snooze. Nighty-nite!

Muse - What a fun time - thank you! You put together the "event of the season" - well done! *clapping*
Now excuse me while I pick up all those empty wine bottles that are laying all over my cabin floor!

MuseSwings said...

You are all very welcome and thank you too!

Stevie, I must have fallen asleep too! Shelly woke me up with all that clanging of empty wine bottles. I hope there's still some French toast. We should have breakfast and then go looking for Sparky. Shelly, put those bottles down for a second and sit down with us. Anna, have some coffee - the Happy Woodsman made a fresh pot and kept that fire blazing all night. Stevie you've got some soot in your hair from those fireworks. There, that looks better. After breakfast we should go looking for Sparky. We may have to bail her out. How much is that in bloggymoney?

Betsy Brock said...

It's only 18 degrees here in Ohio this morning! I'd love to sit by that bonfire with a blanket..and the vodka...I'd be warm inside and out! :)

Dave, Marianne and BC - you are welcome and thanks for stopping by! I've got just the thing for a hangover!

MuseSwings said...

Good news everyone - Sparky is not in the slammer so we don't have to take up a bail collection - we can buy more vodka and eggnog instead. Whew!
