Welcome to your Spa Day in France! Oui! I hope you had a good trip, and are rested from your overnight stay! We have a perfect day of pleasure and pampering planned.
.
.
Perhaps some cafe au lait and some beignet's?
.
.
You may enjoy your breakfast in bed if you like. Oh, and your bath has been drawn for you. I'll meet you outside when you are ready.
.
.
Look! some of our dear bloggy friends are waiting for us. The robes and spa slippers are perfect and so comfortable
.
.
Let's just take this short cut
.
Here we are!
.
.
Up the stairs and through the doors
.
.
Here is our receptionist Mlle Bijou to help you schedule your day. She doesn't speak English, so if your French is non-existent, as mine is, just speak loudly, slowly and use your hands a lot - like charades. That should work.
.
Oh, it's time for your facial
.
.
I feel my skin getting younger don't you?
.
.
Of course it's okay that you brought Sweetums along. Pets get special treatment here too.
.
.
A matching bento lunch created by Henri is always a good idea.
.
A little quiet meditation is nice. Takes care of a winter's worth of stresses, don't you think?
.
Oooooh they're calling us for our massage
.
Do you think the 180 minute massage is too long? Me neither.
.
And with plumeria to scent the air......zzzzz
.
A dip in Rene' du Lac's lovely wine therapy
.
A delicious snack to tide us over until lunch. Oh, you're a vegetarian? You can have my leaf....I'll see you in the hair salon
.
.
I'm thinking of getting a new hairstyle - something very French by Francois
.
.
The magazines are in French, but they have lots of pictures
.

I'm writing my post now and will be done by the time you wake up!
Hi! I would have happily participated, but my Internet was down and so I didn't know you'd planned this relaaaaaaxing post. Catch me next time. Bibi likes the cucumbers on the dog's eyes...
Wow, I feel all squeaky clean and sparkling now... thanks, I needed that!
I'm heading to the spa tonight - and hey...the one with the blue curly floor - I WAS JUST THERE!!! in florida in fort myers - right????? woo hoo!!
I just met up with Marie - she has the most delicious chocolatey facial - with instructions! I'll have to make two - one for my face and one to snack on.
Mim - you guessed right. I had a pedicure yesterday so I could get in the spa mood.
A n'R glad you enjoyed! I'm heading back for my 2nd massage appointment..zzzzzz
Bibi - I'll need extra cucumbers for my pups. They love veggies.
AWESOME! I am currently working on my post. Give me a few minutes, please! Blessings
Linda - I'll be by as soon as I hear water running!
MUSE & MARIE- checking in really quickly, you have been left a message at my blog. That JB is a quirky/cheeky fellow. (wink, wink)
Linda has her favorite spy...I mean spa wear on today. There's an envelope sitting on her bed - says "top secret"...think I'll just take that for a little walk down to the steam room....
Let me pour you a glass of Cristal champagne to toast our Dearest Muse!
Why, Martha! don't mind if I do. Love your new hair color and the cut - so very chic!
*Blicky emerges from the hairdresser, festooned with pink ribbon fur puffed up and sticking on end.*
I'm feeling so glorious and pampered it's hard to imagine my poor, stupid owner is home scrubbing my vomit stains and sweeping up spill cat food. Cheers ladies!
I've posted a little travel journal from my last trip over at BK. :)
Hic ** I'm stumbling off for my wine therapy now!
Bliquie! That ees you French name eez eet? I LOVE the new calico look! Oh...ahhhh oops...Perhaps you should be wearing a cape in the salon. Francois is so very exuberant when he is working on our tresses. Easily corrected, I am sure.
Mlle. Bijoux has a teeny tiny request. She loves her little Zen garden and is worried each time you walk by that you will mistake it for a well...bidet. I have assured her that you are not in the least interested in her garden other than a geololgical study of the silica and quartz. I'm headed for wine therapy again too - the one at the bar... shall we? Sorry about your poor...ah ...owner. She must stop by. Cleaning cat vomit is soooo ....Yankee.
again i forgot...
my excuse: old timers
or: having a senior moment
real reason: i am just a forgetful old fool!
sooorrrreeeeee...next time....
Whew, OK, Blicky has come home with his (beribboned) tail between his legs. It seems someone called him chere Mademoiselle and he doesn't want to talk about it.
Cheers!*starts swilling a nice Domaine Lafran-Veyrolles.* I can already feel the therapy working.
this is so much fun! Lily the labradoodle and I are ready! Do I need to make an appointment for the massage space in the photo?
This would be my dream day! A 180 minute massage would probably remove all remnants of my Type A personality! LOL!
Sacre bleu! Who painted my nails black? This won't say avant-guarde in rural MA. It will say "acne-ridden goth girl."
Sorry for the late check-in... reality interrupted my spa day! I lurve your spa day agenda for us... (sigh(... let me kick off my shoes and pour some vino while I visit the others!
What a fun day y'all had! I'm getting relaxed just reading your blogzzzzzzzzz.
Sounds like you all had a lovely and relaxing day! I certainly did. I think I'll stay here tonight and have the cafe au lait again in the morning....
Just what I needed after a hard day in the salt mines!
Your spa visit was so exotic and special. I do appreciate your comments on my posts. Thanks for your support. I for sure need a few days at your spa. fun...fun...fun
Jeanne and Trish! Enjoy yourselves - I'm still here - I may stay for a month or two.
I enjoyed my stay at your spa! I left you a little blogger award on my blog!
Were we supposed to leave the spa? I think I'm just going to stay here if you don't mind....
Oh, sorry! I was having another wine bath and didn't see you! No, Blicky, I've decided to just move in here. The food is so much nicer than home - at least on average and it's like having full time nursing care for the aging process. So, yeah, I've decided to stay. How 'bout you?
MuseSwings,
Thank you for the invite, I am sorry I could not make Spa Day! Life has been very busy lately and I could really used a spa day. LOL I am wanting to know what happend to all the free time I am supposed to have when the kids leave home because it has escaped me!
