Me: Yo! Mr. Duck! Didn't I just see you and the missus over at Shelly's place?
.
Walter: Yep - but your pond is a heck of a lot bigger than that poor excuse of a hot tub she's got. There's no "hot" in that tub either.
.
Me: May I take a few pictures of you for Shelly?
.
Walter: Whatever, but snap it up. The missus is a bit famished from our trip.
.
Walter: Loretta! Get your head out of the sand. We're having our picture taken here.

most considerate of them too.
What beautiful color and freshness in these shots...Ain't nature GRAND!!!??? :)
Thank you for those wonderful photos..even though they look happy, I hear Walter and Loretta are in splitsville, she's way too impudent.
I think they are just down here to duck that impudent Michigan weather.
Oh that Loretta is so shy! Beautiful scene..the flowers, the water,...the whole thing!
Love the great convo!
They are actually much better behaved than a lot of the spring break crowd I hear, although she's not shy about showing off her feathers.
Terribly impudent of that Loretta! But you did get great pictures of the fine feathered couple!
Oh, sweet. I love ducks.
There are some that keep eating our pansies in the front of the house (in the middle of Santa Monica - huh?) and I don't even mind because they're just so feathery and quacky, you know?
And awesome photos!

So easy for ducks to get to Florida...or anywhere, lucky ducks.
Oh I just become pea green with envy that people have such beautiful spots so close to them! Those shots are lovely, and the mallard convo? priceless!
