Indian Summer Picnic Grand Finale

The picnic was wonderful! It appears as though everyone enjoyed the day! We met new friends, ate fabulous food, listened to music, poetry and enjoyed artwork created for the day. We've been all over the world and now that the sun has set we are warming ourselves at a bonfire while we watch fireworks and sip cherry cordials! What a grand plan and what a lovely day! Thank you everyone who participated as well as the many friends who stopped by for lunch and games!

I think I have tired out the comments feature - my computer started freezing up every time I attempt to leave one. So for the rest of the evening I'll sit here - with my partially frozen computer - by the bonfire while we watch fireworks and sing camp songs. Stay as long as you like and come by in the morning - someone mentioned a sleep over and cinnamon rolls just before I started having computer problems. I just happen to have my jammies with me - so although you may not hear from me - thanks to the computer - I'll be singing along and having a wonderful time! Enjoy!

*Someone* mentioned cinamon rolls...er...I think that was you! But hey, I 'm game.....now...just let me go see if Dr. Peck has any overnighter plans...if not, I'm sure he would love to join us to watch the sun rise, and drink early morning cafe au lait and cinamon to chase the pre-dawn chills away....

What a wondeful picnic we had. It exceeded all my expectations. I'm stuffed, I've got thirty five new tadpoles to my name, we laughed, we cried, we melted candy corns in our ankles and we singed our eyebrows off.....what a splendid time had by all!!

Hey, is there any of that pecan pie leftover? I'm starved for a late night snack!

Maybe my picnic post was too stuffed with comments! This one works! But I couldn't leave them at other blogs either?!?!

Yes Willow - plenty o pie. Let me get you a clean plate.

Lavinia - I only cried because the ants were after the candy corn. And the candy corn was stuck to my ankles. Do check on the whereabouts of Mr. Peck! Trish had him last. oooh cafe au lait - brilliant! There's a Cuban restaurant nearby - they sell that wonderful cafe con leche and slabs of toasted cuban bread. Wonder if they'll deliver? now.

Cynthia, where do you get your energy. I'm pooped! I think I'll get some shut eye so that I can be 'fresh' for the morning's doings....that Cuban cafe sounds good... yes, good heavens...do they deliver?!

Please deliver Mr. Peck to me. Lavinia and Trish, you've monopolized that poor man's time when anyone can see he can't wait to be alone with me!

Muse darlink, you've throw an absolutely marrhveloussss party!

Good idea - I'm exhausted and ready to hit the sack. I'll send the Mister out to get us coffee and toast. I called and asked if they deliver - they said a whole bunch of stuff in Spanish. So I still don't know. They never said the one word I do know - si.
Sleep well Lavinia! Hasta Manana.

I spotted Dr Peck and Nana Trish zooming around on a Vespa. Maybe they'll drop by the Cuban cafe and pick up some of those fine sounding vittles? Wait a minute...did I see Dr Peck zig zag? Hang on Nana Trish!

Now who's been drinking raspberry cordial with Dr Peck?

The fireworks are the best finish tonight! Clean out your Internet cache case, temporary files and history files and that will probably help bring your computer back to life from a day full of webpages! Goodnight!

Thanks a lot for visiting my page, and leaving kind comments. I always enjoy meeting new ones like a river flows, carried by the surprise of its own... really with friends like these, no:)

Lucky you are there having a social event, and great to share a bit of the time together.

Sending love to my most fave Sunshine State, and Happy Autumn Wishes!
